1000mm Wall-Hung Vanity with a One-Piece Cast Resin Top-Basin in Clay Greige

0.158 m3 and 36 kg in two cartons, about 420 sets to a 40HQ — a cast resin top-basin costed by the cubic meter, not by the showroom

The argument for this vanity starts with the joint that is not there. The top and the basin are one casting in mineral-filled resin, 12 mm at the deck and 30 mm at the apron, so there is no silicone line around a bowl to go black in a rental bathroom. The carcass is 18 mm HMR particleboard in clay greige super-matte MFC, CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI compliant, with two DTC 30 kg undermount drawers on a steel hanging rail. Two cartons, 0.158 m3 and 36 kg gross, about 420 sets to a 40HQ.

Why Buyers Choose This Model

  • 1000 x 480 x 520 mm wall-hung carcass on a steel rail with two M8 through-bolts rated to 100 kg static, so the unit goes up after the tile without blocking out the wall
  • 18 mm HMR particleboard in CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI compliant panel, edge banded on four sides with 1 mm ABS so a wet towel left on a shelf is not a claim
  • One-piece cast top-basin in mineral-filled resin, 12 mm deck and 30 mm apron, matte at 3 gloss units, so the joint that normally discolors around a bowl does not exist
  • Bowl 520 x 340 x 120 mm with 12 L to overflow, an integrated slotted overflow and a 45 mm waste, drilled for a single-hole or an 8 in widespread faucet to order
  • Cast resin can be sanded and re-polished on site, which turns a scorched deck or a scratched apron into 20 minutes of work instead of a replacement top
  • Two DTC 30 kg undermount soft-close runners rated to 50,000 cycles, carrying 16 mm MFC drawer boxes with 1 mm ABS edges and no steel side profile to rattle loose
  • Clay greige super-matte at about 0.6 gloss units, matched to the resin top so carcass and top read as one surface in daylight rather than two materials in a photograph
  • Two cartons at 0.158 m3 and 36 kg gross — about 420 sets per 40HQ against roughly 210 assembled at 0.32 m3, and the largest carton fits a 48 x 40 in pallet

Specification Questions Buyers Ask

Is a cast resin top-basin as durable as a ceramic one?
It fails differently rather than better or worse, and that difference decides which one fits your channel. Vitreous china is fired at about 1,200 C, so it resists heat, stains and every household cleaner, but a chip in the glaze is permanent and a crack ends the part. Mineral-filled cast resin is a thermoset with a gel coat and a filled core, so it is warm to the touch, quieter under a running tap and repairable, but it does not like a hot pan set down on the deck and it will dull under an abrasive cream cleaner. For a rental or a hospitality program where the top has to survive a decade of tenants, the repairable material is usually the cheaper decision over the life of the unit.
How is a resin deck actually repaired after damage?
By sanding, not by replacing. A scorch or a deep scratch is worked down in steps from 320 to 600 to 1,000 grit wet, then brought back with a scuffing compound and a matte pad, and the repair is invisible because the color runs through the casting rather than sitting on top of it. The two things that cannot be fixed are a crack that has propagated through the deck and a burn that has carbonised the core, which is why the care leaflet should say what a ceramic leaflet does not need to say: no hot pans, no undiluted bleach, no abrasive cream. Send four spare matte pads with each container and the first repair never becomes a warranty claim.
Does a 1000 mm wall-hung carcass need different fixings from a floor-standing vanity?
Yes, because the load path changes. A floor-standing unit carries its weight on the floor and uses the wall only for stability; this one hangs from a steel rail that transfers everything into two M8 through-bolts, and the wall becomes the structural member. On block or brick the supplied anchors are sufficient at 100 kg static. On a stud wall the two bolts have to land on studs or on a plywood pattress behind the board, and that decision has to be taken before the tile goes up, because retrofitting a pattress through finished tile costs more than the vanity.
What does CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI compliance require from me as the importer?
It requires a paper trail, not a claim. TSCA Title VI is the federal rule that mirrors California's CARB Airborne Toxic Control Measure for composite wood, and it applies to the particleboard and MDF in the carcass and the door cores, not to the resin top or the hardware. The importer of record has to keep records showing that the panels came from a mill certified to the rule, with the panel producer's name and the lot or invoice reference, so that a panel can be traced back if Customs and Border Protection or EPA asks. Ask the factory for the panel supplier's TSCA certificate with the shipment documents, keep it with the entry file, and treat a supplier who cannot name its mill as a supply risk rather than a price opportunity.
Can the top be drilled for an 8 inch widespread faucet, and does that change the lead time?
It can, and it does not change the tooling, because the deck is a casting with a nominal thickness and the holes are drilled after demoulding against a jig. A single-hole 35 mm punch is the standard because it suits a monobloc mixer; an 8 in (203 mm) widespread set needs three holes on 203 mm centers and has to be named on the purchase order, because the jig position differs and a deck drilled for one cannot be re-drilled for the other without a visible plug. Add one working day to the lead time for a first order at a new drilling, and none afterwards.
