900mm Clear-Anodized Silver Aluminum Vanity with a One-Piece Ceramic Top

Two cartons at 0.133 m3 and 32 kg gross, about 480 sets to a 40HQ — an aluminum vanity costed by the cubic meter, not by the showroom

The spec sheet for this vanity starts with a material argument and ends with a freight number. The body is a 1.2 mm aluminum profile frame with 18 mm aluminum honeycomb side panels, finished in clear anodizing at 12 to 15 micron, so there is no board core to swell when the shower runs. The top is one-piece vitreous china at 900 x 460 mm, so the joint that normally fails around a basin does not exist. Two DTC 30 kg runners, a steel hanging rail, two cartons at 0.133 m3 and 32 kg gross, about 480 sets to a 40HQ.

Why Buyers Choose This Model

  • 900 x 460 x 520 mm wall-hung body on a steel rail with two M8 through-bolts, rated to 100 kg static load, so the unit goes up after tiling without blocking out the wall
  • 1.2 mm aluminum profile frame with 18 mm aluminum honeycomb side and back panels — no chipboard core, so a leak under the basin cannot delaminate the carcass
  • Clear anodizing at 12 to 15 micron, tested to 480 hours of neutral salt spray, which is the finish that holds its tone in a wet room and in a coastal apartment
  • One-piece vitreous china top at 900 x 460 mm with a 430 x 320 x 130 mm bowl, a 45 mm waste and one 35 mm tap punch — no silicone line around the basin to go black
  • Two DTC 30 kg full-extension soft-close runners rated to 50,000 cycles, carrying 5.5 mm aluminum drawer boxes that stay square without a steel side profile
  • Anodized silver is color in the metal at 12 to 15 micron, not a foil or a powder coat, so a replacement front ordered two years later matches the original without a color card
  • Cabinet 0.085 m3 at 18 kg and top 0.048 m3 at 14 kg — 0.133 m3 and 32 kg gross per set, about 480 sets per 40HQ against roughly 220 assembled at 0.30 m3
  • 100 percent of the aluminum carcass and drawer boxes separate as metal at end of life and the fired ceramic top goes to inert waste, which is the material breakdown a tender in Germany now asks the importer to supply

Specification Questions Buyers Ask

Does an anodized aluminum carcass need different wall fixings from a wooden vanity?
The load path is different, so the fixing is different. A board vanity spreads its weight across a full back panel; this one hangs on a steel rail that carries the load into two M8 through-bolts rated to 100 kg static. That makes the wall, not the cabinet, the variable: on block or brick the rail fixes with the supplied anchors, on a stud wall the two bolts have to land on studs or on a plywood pattress behind the tile. Ask the installer to confirm the substrate before the tiling is closed up, because retrofitting a pattress through finished tile is the expensive version of the same job.
Why pair an aluminum body with a ceramic top instead of solid surface?
Because the two materials fail in different ways and neither failure is hidden. Vitreous china is fired at about 1,200 C, so it does not stain, does not scorch and does not care what cleaner is used on it, and a chipped glaze on a ceramic top is a visible defect the buyer sees at delivery rather than at year three. Solid surface can be sanded and re-polished, which is the better answer for a hotel that expects to repair rather than replace. For a distributor selling into family bathrooms, the ceramic top is the lower-claim option, and it is also the cheaper one to tool.
How does clear anodizing compare with powder coating on a bathroom unit?
Anodizing is an oxide layer grown out of the aluminum itself, so it cannot peel the way a paint film can, and the metallic tone is in the metal rather than on it. Powder coating gives a wider color range and a thicker film, but a chip exposes bare aluminum and a chip is what a bathroom delivers when a mirror is dropped. On salt spray the two are close when both are specified properly; on repairability and on color consistency between production batches, the anodized surface is the more predictable of the two. Neither survives an abrasive cream cleaner, which belongs in the care leaflet.
Can the width change to 600 or 1200 mm without new tooling?
Yes, from 600 to 1200 mm in 100 mm steps. The frame is cut from 1.2 mm aluminum profile on a CNC saw and the honeycomb panels are cut on the same nesting program, so a width change is a cutting-list change, not a mould. The ceramic top is the one part with a tool, and the same bowl and tap position are used from 700 mm upward, so a mixed program of 600, 900 and 1200 mm ships in one container without a separate minimum per width. Below 700 mm the bowl shrinks to a 360 x 280 mm mould.
What is the real cube saving against an assembled painted MDF vanity in a 40HQ?
On cube, roughly two to one. This set is 0.133 m3 flat-packed against about 0.30 m3 for an assembled painted MDF vanity of the same width, so a 40HQ at about 68 m3 usable carries around 480 sets instead of around 220. On weight the gap narrows, because aluminum is not lighter than board once the honeycomb, the rail and the ceramic top are counted: 32 kg gross here against about 38 kg for the board equivalent. The saving is freight and replacement, not mass, and the replacement argument is that a wet aluminum carcass is a wipe-down while a swollen MDF one is a warranty claim.
