Melamine Cabinets
MFC and melamine-faced MDF cabinet programs for distributors, contractors and project buyers — colour-matched edge banding, flat-pack export packing, MOQ 20 pcs per model.
Why buyers choose melamine for volume programs
Melamine-faced panels give a uniform decor across every door, panel and filler in a project — something painted finishes cannot guarantee across batches. The decor paper is pressed onto the board under heat and pressure, so the surface resists scuffs and household cleaners without a topcoat, and there is no curing time between production and packing.
For project buyers the practical advantage is cost structure: the price per square metre is set by board and edge banding rather than labour hours, quotations stay stable across repeat orders, and flat-packed cartons reduce freight per cabinet. The trade-off is that chips at an edge cannot be touched up like paint, so edge quality is the specification that matters most — which is why we quote edge thickness explicitly on every line.

What is the difference between melamine, MFC and MDF?
MFC (melamine-faced chipboard) uses a particleboard core; melamine-faced MDF uses a medium-density fibreboard core. Both carry a melamine-impregnated decor paper pressed onto the board. MDF routes and profiles more cleanly; chipboard is lighter and lower cost per square metre.
Which board thickness do you use for cabinets?
Carcass panels are normally 16 mm or 18 mm. Doors are 18 mm. Back panels are usually 5 mm HDF or 16 mm, depending on the program. All thicknesses are confirmed on the drawing before production.
How is the edge finished?
PVC or ABS edge banding in 0.8 mm, 1 mm or 2 mm, colour-matched to the decor. Standard lines use hot-melt glue; PUR or laser edging is available for moisture-exposed programs.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ is 20 pcs per model. Production lead time is 25–35 days after deposit and approved samples, plus sea freight transit.
Can melamine cabinets be shipped flat-packed?
Yes. RTA programs ship flat-packed in export cartons with assembly instructions, which lowers freight cost per cabinet compared with assembled units.
