This is a flat slab melamine door on a 16 mm MFC carcass — there is no paint shop, no five-piece door and no hand-finishing step, so the cost per meter is roughly a third of a lacquered shaker. Why flat-pack instead of rigid?

Is the carcass moisture-resistant enough for a kitchen?
16 mm E1 MFC is the standard carcass for European and Australian volume kitchens, and it performs well when the sink base and dishwasher housings are sealed during installation. We supply a foil-covered sink base as an option for markets where the kitchen sits next to a wet room.
